The stage design for William Shakespeare's "King Lear" has been customized to fit the dimensions and conditions of Vahdat Hall in Tehran, Iran. I was responsible for designing three scenes of the play and costumes for some of the characters. In the Desert Scene, a video mapping was prepared for projecting on the model. The design of this performance can be classified as modern, with the table chairs playing an interactive role. Specifically, I designed unique chairs for King Lear and his three daughters. In order to have food, each daughter is required to stand on her chair to reach the table, symbolizing the attainment of power. During the play, Gonerill and Regan increase the height of their chairs to sit comfortably, while Cordelia makes a different decision...
